For my digital drawing class we had to illustrate a folk tale. I chose this obscure Congoese creation myth. In brief: Bumba, a giant with white skin, is alone on the earth, which is nothing but water. His stomach starts to hurt and he vomits up the sun, stars, and clouds, which dry up some of the water and create land. He vomits again, and out come these nine animals. He continues and eventually creates man.
